If you are an able-bodied adult who CAN work, then GET YOUR TIRED ASS UP AND WORK!
SNAP should be a SAFETY NET, not a permanent hammock.
If you’re disabled, elderly, caring for someone who truly needs you, temporarily down on your luck, or genuinely unable to work, THAT is exactly why a safety net exists.
And CHILDREN? FEED THEM.
A child doesn’t control whether Mom or Dad works, how much money comes into the house, or what decisions the adults make. Don’t punish children for adult decisions. Stop playing for $100 Nails, Stop buying $1500 Cell Phones! Stop getting $2500 worth of Ink!
FEED YOUR DAM CHILDREN!
But able-bodied adults who are capable of working shouldn’t expect taxpayers to support them indefinitely while they sit on their ass.
AND YES, IMMIGRATION IS PART OF THIS CONVERSATION TOO.
I HAVE FRIENDS WHO WORK FOR DHS.
They have told me directly about what they see happening inside the system, and they’re LIVID. They don’t want their names attached to it because they’re afraid speaking publicly could cost them their jobs.
That’s what THEY have personally told me. I’m not going to claim I’ve personally inspected their case files.
But MY position couldn’t be simpler:
If you’re in America illegally, YOU Don’t DESERVE the American taxpayers paying your way!!!
You don’t get to illegally enter another country and then expect that country’s taxpayers to pick up the tab.
And before somebody twists what I’m saying, I am NOT talking about somebody who genuinely needs temporary help.
Help the disabled.
Help the elderly.
FEED THE CHILDREN.
Help AMERICANS who hit hard times get back on their feet.
THAT is what a safety net is supposed to do.
But if you’re an able-bodied adult and CAN WORK?
GET 
YOUR ASS TO WORK.
Taxpayers aren’t an endless ATM.
I don’t mind helping somebody climb out of a hole. I’ve been there!
I DO mind paying for the lawn chair they set up at the bottom of it. 
That’s MY opinion.
