I’m wondering what people’s opinions are on this, because I have some VERY strong feelings about it! *I would NEVER watch another human being executed. NOT EVER!* Look, I understand that people have different opinions about the death penalty. That’s a whole other debate. But turning someone’s execution into ENTERTAINMENT?! HELL NO! The UFC is entertainment. Barbaric? Some might say so. But so are boxing, football, and hunting for sport in their own ways. *THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WATCHING A SPORT AND WATCHING SOMEONE BE PUT TO DEATH!* Whether someone deserves the death penalty is one conversation. Whether people should gather around to WATCH it happen for entertainment is another. And personally, I find the very idea disturbing. I don’t care how horrible someone’s crimes were. I have absolutely NO desire to sit there and watch a human being take their last breath. *EXECUTIONS ARE NOT ENTERTAINMENT!* And the fact that we’re even having this conversation makes me wonder just how far humanity has fallen. I’m genuinely curious what everyone thinks. *Would YOU watch an execution? And do you believe there’s a difference between supporting capital punishment and wanting to witness it?* Let’s hear your opinions! ~Slick
